And yet more than half backed Trump, by far the more pro-Israel candidate.

Not favoring Israel's behavior is not the same thing as not supporting Israel existing.

And yet two thirds of Americans supported the most pro-Israel candidate we've ever had.

The youth never show.

And the "pro-war crowd" is larger than the "anti-war crowd" where it comes to Israel.

What makes you think that?

What evidence do you have?

The fact a bunch of people on Twitter said it doesn't mean it's a 1:1 ratio to voting.

All the polls agree people lean more towards Israel than Palestine. Particularly in swing states like Ohio and Pennsylvania.

This is why I'm hesitant to believe the tariffs will be the death knell of MAGA.

It might be enough to get the idiots who voted for him because they don't understand how markets work and blamed Biden, but these committed idiots will look the truth in the face and spit in it's eye because it doesn't line up with what they've committed themselves to.

Maybe I'm pessimistic. We've got almost four full years and the one thing this idiot has been committed to where it comes to economics is tariffs, namely on the biggest producer of our shit and that's a long time to be paying a thousand dollars for a cellphone, but I have really lost faith in the ability of human beings to put narrow self interest over blind prejudice.

The problem is the average American ain't gonna do that kinda work.

I mean, it hasn't thus far.

It's almost impressive how quickly the whole of the business world capitulated to Donald Trump.

Companies will raise prices to account for what they're losing on the tariffs.

I saw someone say it seems that the tariffs were calculated by dividing our trade deficit by their exports to us and cutting that number in half. Another person analyzed his charts and concluded they look a lot like they were generated by AI.

So, there is, literally no basis in logic. Either one of Trump's minions calculated what it would take to recoup the difference in the trade deficit and just wrote it down and he announced that as the new basis for international trade, which has never, ever been done, for the reason that it is fucking idiotic, or he asked Gemini how to execute his already objectively stupid policy and wrote an Executive Order making it the law.

And the fact that we are forced to accept people on the Internet's guesses about how he calculated these numbers may actually be worse than the fact that just about every product on the market more complex than a stapler just jumped about 30% in price.

I'd say it's also a problem that the sort of people who use the Internet to find people to beat up are idiots, so even if they aren't going out of their way to victimize minorities, odds are they'll just beat up some random person.
