People are going to start asking AI to rotate PDFs for them, just like people started asking ChatGPT to do math; it’s a terrible idea but will probably work 80% of the time, and that’ll be good enough for most people.

You can make commits on your system without pushing them to the remote server, and that’s the default behavior.
These days I go 50/50 on Reddit and Lemmy. I know it’s a chicken and egg problem for content, but hopefully 50% usage is enough to change things over time.

If it's a choice between AI-accelerated cores and nothing, sure, but that silicon space could have been used for AVX-512 or a bigger cache instead.
The most charitable argument for Trump would be that foreign businesses reduce their prices such that the price paid by their US customers is the same as before the tariffs to remain competitive in the US market, but I think most MAGAs literally just never thought about it.
Per their own arguments in court, no reasonable person would consider Fox News to be factual.
