No AI allowed here. While there are communities who appreciate it, it's generally not appreciated. I already criticized use on the energy waste and feeding evil overlords. Blocked.

Jesus Christ and I though I was paranoid. I' was scrolling and about half-asleep when I replied. Having it pointed out this is a bot snapped me to attention though. What's your excuse?

if you actually want change, which I know you don’t, you would put more effort into this and write a fucking book. after all, ChatGPT is writing most of it anyway so it really shouldn’t be that hard?

Eh, not all of us are writers. But I'd rather not the use of the biggest problematic product enabling the amoral overlords to speedrun the wholesale destruction of the human race and our habitat. We've proven to be rather humanly capable of that.

You've kind of blown any credibility.

Thanks for putting me on alert when I'm sleepy.

Abe statement is probably closer to real than you might imagine.

I remember this movie! I rescind my sign up.

We use AI...

I'm going to hard nope on that. Way too energy intensive, way too much slop, way too much phoning corporate overlord home.

Otherwise sign me up.

I think whether or not he's willfully instituting eugenics or not isn't the point, so much as not flinging open the gates to get from where we are to there is the point. It's so odd how we remember this lesson from the more-distant past , but not particular lessons from the more recent past. Maybe economics and politics analyses suffers from a sort of astigmatism rather than myopia?

I'm wondering how much of that was due to being in their current monetary system and needing to support themselves and parents, siblings, children.

Idk about plastics. I'd like to work on organisms that consume them, but would the waste still be toxic?

I realize a zero carbon-waste world is a tall order but I'd really like to move away from fossil fuels, I guess bog peat may fall into that category. I'd like to focus on renewables, but they are vulnerable to hurricanes, tornados, flooding and acts of wars, so I'm not sure how that can be mitigated. I'd also like to move away from nuclear.

Maybe. Maybe not. Do you prefer the sexual partner that is openly more chaotic/messy, occasionally abusive or the one that has a few normal character flaws but is otherwise wonderful, until one day you have a fever, open sores on your generalis while being completely monogamous, then get diagnosed with hsv, syphilis, antibiotic -resistant gonorrhea, and HIV with a very low t-cell count?

That said both sides probably over exaggerate the accusations and understate accomplishments of each other and reverse that for and their own.
