Yes, this is how it is in Germany too and in my experience travelling it is like that in a lot of Europe.

Unmanned stations are a relatively recent thing here, so the first time I wanted to fill up at one I thought the pump was broken before I realised I have to pay first lol.

Yeah, I would be happier to have autonomous cars on the freeway than on other roads. There are usually no pedestrians on freeways that can be overlooked.

But I'm even happier that there are no autonomous cars driving by itself where I live right now.

It's actually worse than that.

He does know some stuff about technology and his team knows the stuff that he maybe doesn't know.

But in the fight with GamersNexus Linus basically admitted that they don't have time to properly fact check stuff because they would make less money if they released less videos.

This is a good idea in general, however this doesn't help when it comes to getting the first interest, because how can you tell if someone is really genuine about caring from a few words on a profile?

But yeah, my girlfriend wanted to start dating me not because I am the most attractive person, but because I am always nice to her and to people in general. To me it seems crazy to not be, but I guess not everyone is like that.

The closest grocery store/supermarket is around 1km away from my house and a few others are just slightly further away. I could walk there, but I have better ways to use my time, so I just go with my bike.

The pannier bags also enable me to buy heavy stuff without having to lift it the whole way.

I have my Google Account set to English, but YouTube still autotranslates all video titles of newer videos to German for some reason...

A little speculation has never hurt anyone, especially when everyone is just saying that it is likely.

No one in this thread said that this is definetly what happened, so I don't get what you want.

Correct, if we go to a red dwarf star after a few minutes we would also percieve the light as white if it isn't extremely red.

I have no problem if other men share pictures of their dicks on public forums where that is expected.

But sharing a naked photo of someone without their consent is not OK and messed up.

It depends where you are on the moon, if you are not on the poles you will have almost 15 days of darkness.

Sure, solar panels are also a good option, but nuclear makes more sense in space than it does on earth, since costs to transport stuff into space are much higher, probably even higher than the power plant itself. So it makes sense to use the fuel with the highest power density.

And it's not that big of a deal if it breaks and spreads radioactivity, since you are exposed to lots of radioactivity on the moons surface anyway and the population will be much lower than here on earth.

That doesn't mean that nuclear on the moon will always make sense, but it is less stupid than you might think. Building new nuclear power plants for power production on earth is stupid though imo.

I don't think that the money that an industry gets represents it's value to society, not even close. I don't think that a CEO brings 1000 times more value than a normal worker.

What I really see happening is that every industry tries to take as much of everyones money as they can and if they are in a position where they can force us to do it, they will.

There is no fair wage distribution, not even among white men.

Women earning less money is just one of the symptoms in this ever more broken system where big corporations control more and more of our everyday lives.

I don't think banking should be paid as highly as it does, but mine workers earn so much because they literally risk their lives at work.

The reason why bankers earn so much probably is because they work with huge amounts of money, so it's easier for them to demand a cut of it.
