Hungary is a terrorist state. This can't be tolerated, with or without elections. Everyone is just waiting for the elections.. but nothing is assured, and I don't really have much hope on a transparent process there. Time to act, if this "plays into Orban's hands" well too bad, that's the price of decades of stupidity among Hungarian voters. But Hungary must be stopped.

I don't think he does it, that might be the main problem actually.

Twitter always had a fraction of Facebook or Instagram users. It was/is popular with certain niches, more or less popular in certain countries, but not the network to find your family or friends.

Politicians and reporters using it should be ashamed of sharing a platform with Nazis and pedophiles.

Spain's position is easy to explain, Sanchez depends on far-left parties to keep his government. It's that simple. Plus, it's just words without any relevant action. Oh right, the US army can't use bases it was not intending to use anyway... Thoughts and prayers.

I see your point, but still, that's no excuse for X, it was never the network of the people, it's used by politicians, reporters and news junkies. Most people never used it. Politicians and reporters are just addicted to it and too lazy to move anywhere else..

They're still mostly on X, including left wing ones.. so.. there's that.

At request of swiss authorities, nothing they could do (companies must follow the law of the country). The guy just needed to have used the free version or a anonymous way of paying and nothing would have been given.

The flight corridors from Europe to Asia are extremely narrowed by the two wars in Ukraine and Iran. However, there is one airline that still benefits from this –.

So far, Lufthansa has been at a disadvantage compared to its competitors from the Persian Gulf. Despite the war in Ukraine, Gulf airlines continued to fly over Russia, allowing them to use shorter routes and save fuel depending on their flight route.

But now crude oil prices are rising, and that too is leading to higher costs for kerosene. Although Lufthansa claims to have largely secured itself through forward transactions for the current year – airlines typically plan kerosene consumption many months in advance and secure it through price contracts. Nevertheless, customers must prepare for rising ticket costs because they have to circumnavigate the restricted airspace, which often leads to higher consumption.

"We don't know how long this effect will last in the Gulf. Whether this is a turning point or just a temporary phenomenon," the Lufthansa CEO said. Nevertheless, the 100-year history of his company also teaches one thing: travel flows are likely to shift only in the short term if the war ends quickly. The Gulf region will certainly remain attractive as a travel destination: "There are people who quickly forget and buy the cheapest ticket again."

Canada joining the EU would create a strong identity crisis on our fragile and ever evolving European identity. Although I do like the idea of Canada having stronger relations with the EU (could go all the way up to joining Erasmus and customs union), I don't think full EU membership would be desirable for both parties.

I know there are some precedents, like French Guiana or those tiny islands off the coast of.. Canada.. but those are territories belonging to a EU member and that's the reason for. The head of state of Canada is no longer in a EU state.

New polling shows just under half of Canadians support the idea, but there are costs

I mean.. China is no threatening to invade, why would it surprise anyone that the US falls behind it?

Theocrats get theocrats.

Why so many left-wingers feel the need to defend the Iranian regime is what's hard to understand..

Are they also extremely concerned?
