Wasn't joking. Still, I would much prefer a living wage, like what we see from old-timey videos, where a single person can support a household and feel happy about their fiscals.

Me and the other residents, if there was money to spare. Unfortunately, the economy doesn't lend itself to getting a job that lets people to be adults and human at the same time. The bread victor shouldn't have to sacrifice their happiness for keeping the place in better shape.
Personally, I think they resemble Xerxes.
Honestly, it would be good if Republican businesses go kaput, and leave the field(s) to more humane and sane businesses that value society.
I wouldn't mind being a crop worker...provided I get at least minimum wage, breaks, healthcare, and reasonable quotas that ensure my wellbeing.

The elimination of ghost jobs, for a start. If you have to jump through hoops for a job that doesn't exist, that instills a strong distrust in society. People need money to make headway in their life, and shit like ghost jobs corrode the feeling of hope.
Once you cannot feel love for living anymore, that is a great deal of space in one's heart to be filled with hatred.
I wish we just played MTG as a national pastime, instead of dealing with Returdblican bullshit.
The plumber a couple weeks ago showed me some pictures of the pipes from the inside. It explains why I needed filter cartridges for my shower, why my sink needed looking at, how come the toilet was losing flushing power, and why the water heater's recirculator never worked. Turns out, the thing burned out from debris.
This residence totally needs a revamp, well beyond my means. π
The pipes in my residence are at least 60 years old, made of metal, and the resulting water tastes a bit suspect. I get water from the grocery store and put it in the water cooler. Costs about $10-20ish for 20 gallons, but probably far safer than what the tap provides.
Replacing all of the pipes would cost $19,000+. π¨
If true, I am expecting the US to pull out of NATO and to formally ally with Russia. The EU should declare on Russia right now and kill Putin before that can happen.
Being an open source program, the Blue States can modify it for their own taxation apparatus. The money intended for the Federal can be held in escrow, then released into service of the states if the Federal doesn't negotiate with the Blue States in good faith.
System Shock 2, one of the best horror game FPSes from the 90's. If you liked the first two Thief games, it was made by the developers of them. Immersive simulations like Bioshock, STALKER, and Prey 2016 were inspired by this particular game. The remaster of SS2 is to be released on the 26th.
