Plus her very religious family desperately want us to marry and we both want to keep denying them that pleasure as early on in our relationship they were adamant we would split up if we didn't get married before living together.

As I got older I have only used discord a handful of times to talk to other people already on that platform. Discord has always sucked Imo, if it's free you're the product. That's how it always has been.

True, I suppose I'm fairly niche in that regard. I mostly made scans of environments using photogrammetry. Basically just documenting a space in time. Like my room, or house, or place I work. It's cool having a 3d environment, it hits different than a photo. I will be able to explore my old spaces I use to be in everyday in the future if I want to reminisce.

I agree with you except I really want lidar, making 3d scans of things is fun and cool. I got really into photogrammetry a few years ago and Lidar is the one iPhone feature I'm jealous of.

Tesla use to have radar I believe, musk over ruled teslas using Lidar and insisted on vision only. Lidar powered autonomous vehicles like Waymo are already cruising the streets unsupervised beating tesla.

All your reasons were valid though. Teslas were the best electric cars for a long time, probably not so anymore. Tesla as a brand has done good things, like you say opening up their charging standard which is superior to all the other competitors.

Personally, I wouldn't get a Tesla because they are sort of like the apple of car companies, e.g. anti-consumer and anti-repair. Plus, Musk owning it is another big negative.
