So we're winning? I'd still love for him to meet his Luigi. Is that enough hate to get you to quit before you do any more damage? I can go more extreme if it isn't.

My coworkers, especially the younger ones, are surprised when they watch me work in vi. Lots of "how did you do that so fast?"

Vim. I used to use emacs in the mid-90s, but I just found that vi was more universally supported. At this point, I am too old and stubborn to learn anything else. I am really efficient in vim.

Sure you're broke, tariffs are wrecking the global economy, climate change is going to kill at least 5 billion people, etc, etc, but it is is all worth it because that one trans kid in Pennsylorida can't play badminton and will probably commit suicide and you can proudly wear your kkk gear in public again.

Maybe doge will do something funny like cut existing farm subsidies.

When do they meet with the prosecutor?

[–] collapse_already@lemmy.ml 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Well, since it is basic military doctrine that you should never field a unit that you can't afford to lose, and the billions in $ losses and thousands of sailor lives means we can't afford to lose a carrier, this suggests that carriers are now obsolete and should be retired.

Discovery: we're going to need you to step on this scale and submit to an accurate barefooted height measurement. The requested information is relevant because it proves that you really are as fat as portrayed.

More like retailers won't eat any of it and will take the opportunity to raise prices even more because they know consumers are expecting higher prices and they have pressure to retain or increase their margins to meet shareholder expectations.

Now we just need democrats in congress to block additional crop subsidies so the red state farmers suffer for voting orange. Oh wait, the farmers are dumb and will only understand that the democrats voted against their subsidy, not why it was needed in the first place.

I think they necessarily will. I can't imagine retailers eating the lost margin.

As someone who works for a defense contractor, I like to tell people chemtrails are real just to sow chaos. To add credibility, I refer people to an early test version:
