The more unvarnished US history you learn, the less weird it seems.

Not a fan of body shaming, but I gotta say, “Andrew Taint.”

I dunno. I don’t present as an alpha male probably because I didn’t grow up in a neighborhood where fronting as a bad ass was a common survival tactic.

Capitalism’s Court Jester: Slavoj Žižek

This neoliberal prankster is thus the epitome of a radical recuperator. He cultivates and markets the appearance of radicality in order to recuperate potentially radical elements in society, particularly young people and students, within the pro-imperialist anti-communist fold. This is precisely why he is the most famous ‘Marxist’ in the capitalist world, festooned by the likes of a journal linked to the engine of U.S. imperialism. His mantra is nothing but an opportunistic perversion of the closing lines of The Communist Manifesto: “Cultural consumers of the pro-Western world unite—and buy my next book, or movie, or crossover product, or whatever, and so on, and so on!”

according to the prompt i made

LLM chat bots are not oracles of truth.

You know what the corpus for English language LLMs comes almost entirely from the Five Eyes states of the imperial core, right? The great majority of English text for the last century has been anti-Communist and pro-capitalist. It’s stuffed with right-wing ideology and outright lies to smear socialism. They’re stuffed with the myth of the US as a democracy, which it objectively isn’t.

I’d also like to know. Sellers can know when you’re using a popular VPN service or have DeGoogled, but I don’t know how they may use that information. Perhaps they’ll try to punish you into submission by jacking prices to the moon or refusing to serve their website altogether. Reddit and some other sites already block VPNs.

There will never be a silver bullet, because this will be an endless arms race between sellers and savvy consumers.
