This person weaned off instead of cold turkey for the same outcome: cessation.

Moderation would be if they still smoked 2 cigarettes a day or a couple times a week instead of 2 packs every day.

What are the ads for? Who's paying for them? Is NY and fed buying these ads? Or a PAC? Or someone selling insurance?

We are a big country and Florida Keys to Maine is about 1800 miles, Wilmington NC to Barstow CA is about 2500 miles

Seems like up and down should count too sometimes. But we need a better word than across, especially if it can't be safely driven in a single day by a single driver without stopping to sleep.

(San Fran to SeaTac is about 800 miles)

I don't know how it works there. Was Pierre running in two races?

Would there have a special election for this seat if he had won both?

What are the odds he loses support and goes quiet after losing both, especially his backup incumbent election? (Knowing hard losses used to discourage people, but not always now)

How many heirs fighting in courts all over the world does it take to redistribute a multi-billioniare's wealth through court fees, lawyer fees, accountants, penalties, etc until none of them are supreme-wealthy anymore? Just never work again wealthy.

Even if some of them don't really want it, they could still find lawyers to fight on contingency and let them drain the wealth. Then donate whatever they might eventually get, if anything.

For example, Anna Nicole and her late husband's son effectively fed lawyers for years and years. Michael Jackson's estate has been tied up in litigation for decades. And Mike had 3 kids, Anna one surviving kid.

With over a dozen and counting Leon kids, and a ton of potential other types of suits incoming from world-wide plantiffs, it'll be interesting to see how that estate eventually gets drained and dispersed.

Does anyone know how long it takes asset seizures to be processed in the UK?

Thank you for the reference, I scrolled to the bottom to check if you were copypasta-ing us before going back and reading it. We just all live in Crazytown now I guess.

I remember a story at the beginning of the Arab Spring. A student journalist tweeted, "Arrested" to his few followers and it went viral. https://mashable.com/archive/twitter-get-out-of-jail

Arrested Development tv show. Pretty funny. The family fortune started with the dad opening a banana stand in his youth.

ALT: 2 panels. 1st panel- Rich mom from Arrested Development sitcom, holding a cup, opulent home, saying "I mean it's one banana, Michael. How much could it cost? Ten dollars?"

2nd panel- Michael sitting back, head on hand saying "you've never actually stepped foot in a supermarket, have you?"
