Would I prefer someone further left? Of course, but as long as we live in a market economy we may as well have someone knowledgeable about it and who has at least expressed a desire to make it more fair.

If the Sync dev starts ruining the app I'll get a different one for the same reason I made a Lemmy account.
Excel is maybe the one place I can see AI being useful because lots of people can describe what they want a spreadsheet to do but not actually do it.
I just wouldn't trust it to do it right
