Well, US wouldn't have it's critical mineral if US abandons Ukraine. Considering China is controlling their Critical Mineral exports, the next viable option is to buy from the country US wants to invade: Canada and Greenland

China could also say only Chinese ships docking at Chinese ports and now there's a nice middlemen that also adds cost to the price.
The most efficient is probably ship to Mexico or Canada and import through land, but still need middlemen to do them + extortion by Cartels in Mexico.

Just don't be miffed if Americans does the same thing and not come to Canada. They would be responding to what we're doing.
We all should be understanding that most of us didn't want this to happen and hunker down and wait for better times

Use Export Tariff on ASML products and services.
They need ASML for the new factories, so they'll have to buy it anyway. That should make up for the loss of revenue on the other products and services Netherlands lose to the Tariffs and US DEI demands
