What I meant is they went through the rough years of 2000s Linux when hardware support was really problematic and the office suite options were far really behind.

Server side was pretty good by then though.

The fact that they made 2004 Linux work untill 2017 was impressive.

Linux and OSS in 2026 is night and day compared to back then.

These companies should not be allowed to write their terms of service anymore.

There should be a generic, consumer and company neutral terms of use that all devices and manufacturers need to adhere to.

Maybe value life as an asset to trade and exploit. You value the lives you can control, but not the ones you can't.

However, If you want this to be true, then do better! Fight back on stupid policy positions on abortion, healthcare, guns and pedophiles.

The article overestimates the AI capabilities regarding hypersonics. I doubt its actually hypersonics. More likely just ballistics.

But coding a guidance system makes sense. Not that its particularly difficult. Every $200 drone has the equivalent of that software.

Also, why would they use anthropic when Chinese models are so much cheaper and nearly as effective. Iran and the Houthi are not wasteful.

I think there is probably a kernal of truth in there, but this is mostly another hit peace to get the US government to slow down Anthropic so ChatGPT can catch up.
