Isn't that where nazis ran to the first time the shit hit the fan? Probably just reserving a spot.

Mmmm smells like heavy metals manufacturing.

I strike up my 2-stroke smoke scented candle in any new (to me) vehicle, just to get that track smell burned in. I guess this is similar.

Keeps the 'skeeters out.

I think they are responding to the OP's comment:

and would also potentially be somewhere between a misdemeanor and a felony depending on where you are in the US, as 3d printed firearms are generally without serial numbers and are thus 'ghost guns', which are often illegal if unregistered, if not outright banned, though this differs from state to state and city to city.

~~Which has nothing to do with NZ.~~

Edit: that last bit sounded catty; not my intention.

I would ask your lawyer before investing in the infrastructure.

Many of the US' gun laws come down to "intent". Almost like they were written from the start to be selectively enforced.

However, selling them without a serial number is illegal.

That's not correct either . Federally it is legal to sell a self built firearm with no serial number as long as you did not originally build it with the intention of selling.

I just noticed a pattern of personality types that I didn't mesh well with. So it's best I don't see their opinions, nor give them mine.

Like blocking all hexbear users. I'm sure I'm probably missing something worthwhile here and there, but overall my life is better without it.

I subscribe to ones I'm interested in. But sometimes I browse all to stumble across new interesting communities. I block the ones I see repeatedly and aren't interested in. I block mass posters, I block bots, I block tankies, I block mods/admins of larger communities. It just makes my all browsing time more efficient.

I use it to curate my lemmy experiance. 99% of the users/communities I block aren't for anything personal, they're just clogging up my ALL feed with things I dont care about (for example, sports ball or foreign language comms).

Sorry if this is a dumb question. My current gaming setup is a Intel I7-4790k, 32Gb ram and a RTX 2080 Super. I came across a AMD Threadripper 1920x, mobo, 64Gb ram for free basically.

Is that worth the time/effort to swap over? It seems to me it would be, but when I search around for info I get conflicting opinions. So any input/insight is appreciated.

Edit: Thank y'all very much! I think I was overthinking single threaded performance.
