That's where they will all escape to, like their former brothers did back in the 1940's.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 hours ago

It's because Trump has never met a fascist he doesn't like.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 8 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Because Trump doesn't want to give it to Americans for health care or food. Fuck them! What did they ever do for him?

[–] Akasazh@feddit.nl 2 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

They don't love him so he's pay other people to love him. Its paid love all the way down with this fella.

He doesn't know real love.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 2 points 2 hours ago

He's an actual psychopath, so he doesn't have any concept of love, or any other emotion other than hate, jealously, and greed. That's why he's always saying really weird things like he and the Korean guy "fell in love" and exchanged "beautiful love letters." It's why he recently said that he got some world leaders in a room, and they all hugged and worked out their problems. It's why he says really inappropriate things about people's appearances, thinking he is complimenting them.

He doesn't understand these concepts at all, because he's a profoundly broken human being, raised in a family of generational psychopaths. Like all psychopaths, he knows he's different from normal people, so he has to fake normal behavior to fit in. Most learn to do it because they have to to survive in society, but Trump was so spoiled and coddled, he never had to change his behavior, he just kept getting worse and worse.

But at some point he realized he had to try, so he sprinkles words that he knows the Normies like, like Love, and Beautiful, etc. He doesn't really know what they mean, he's never really felt any emotions, but he knows he has to fake it, and since he's never really had to sell it, he's terrible at it. He tosses those words around in really inappropriate contexts, and instead of looking normal, he looks even more psychopathic than usual.

Maybe these poor people just need to organize and then bring something golden and suck him off in the white house, boom universal healthcare.

He can call it Trump care and cut some tape when it gets launched.

You are all thinking way too hard about this. Trump's understanding of geopolitics is not any more complicated than his understanding of American politics. Argentina is Texas. Canada is California. Reward red. Punish blue. That's it.

Birds of a feather fuck children together?

[–] LittleBorat3@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Doesn't he fuck his sister or something,

[–] lemmylump@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

Nazis love Argentina.

[–] Bubbaonthebeach@lemmy.ca 29 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Isn't that where the Nazi's fled last time?

[–] Witchfire@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Yep that's precisely why they're cosying up to them

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

The other is that they're the torchbearers of modern ultracapitalism, and the viability of that ideology must be upheld no matter the cost.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

couldnt use the boers from South africa, so he went for the next best thing for nazis.

[–] PodPerson@lemmy.zip 58 points 1 day ago (1 children)

My theory is that he’s not smart enough to strategically build partnerships or relationships with countries. He is rewarding individuals in power that he admires or thinks have shown loyalty to him.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 7 points 1 day ago

much like putin does, where do you think he gets his advice from.

[–] seathru@lemmy.sdf.org 56 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Isn't that where nazis ran to the first time the shit hit the fan? Probably just reserving a spot.

[–] Glytch@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I don't think this is it for one reason: Trump's narcissism won't allow him to consider the possibility of failure.

When has Trump ever cared about his children?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

only 1, and its incestious.

[–] Glytch@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

I wouldn't call child abuse caring.

[–] torch_and_blanket@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 day ago

Mm, probably.

america in a nutshell since i was kid (1990)

[–] Ilixtze@lemmy.ml 28 points 2 days ago

Because Argentina is the prototype for colonial power they want for the rest of latin America, the US has always supported right wing government that opress the population in favor of US corporations, this is a new wave of open Colonialism.

[–] whiwake@sh.itjust.works 14 points 1 day ago

“Why, Trump?”

“Keep sucking and shut up!”

“Yes Daddy”

Asking why doesn't do anything

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Hum... Trump has been throwing lavish praise on Brazil too recently.

He may have discovered that the US can't stay rich by isolating themselves. But he has been praising countries that are mostly economic competitors, instead of customers or suppliers. I don't understand how he thinks.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 1 day ago

brazil has all the tropical fruits, and beef for china. albiet the amazon is getting destroyed for it,.

[–] ToastedRavioli@midwest.social 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I would think our competitors are the most likely people to give him something under the table to buy him off. What does he care to do it anyways?

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I don't think on this specific case anybody has given him anything.

Again, I don't really understand anything about what he's thinking. But on the case of Argentina the money seems to be flowing the other way around, and on the case of Brazil the president would reap lots of benefits if Trump antagonized him further.

[–] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago

when the argentinian leader did that video where he rips off labels from a board, i suspected he was on coke 100%
