Yeah, this only leads to troubles.

Yeah plex was awesome when it was just a fork of XBMC but it’s just another story of someone taking an open source project and privatising it to enshitify it.

Just to tag on to your point higher wages help to GDP and the economy as well by increasing consumption. If the top 1% are getting more money they tend to invest it in lower growth investments (safe investments and high end goods) decreasing the amount of money cycling through the economy. Where as lower incomes spend the increase wages on more goods and services from other people which puts the money back in to movement and increases the number of time the money cycles through the economy.

I think the first step is to get a good spotter and then exhale on the pull.

I think we had up to do up to 12 times tables by 3rd or 4th grade. I remember starting in 1st at school but really I learned them from Schoolhouse Rock. In the states Schoolhouse Rock was on Saturday Mornings between regular cartoons and they had such great songs.

Are you talking about when the executive function is completely offline? Because if that’s hitting hard and I’m going “I’m hungry but I can’t make anything” my go to is a quesadilla.
Seriously if I can stand and heat a frying pan, it becomes easygoing to warm up some tortillas in the fry pan and throw some cheese between them. Bingo bango bongo you’ve got a Mexican cheese sandwich.
And then as I’m eating the first one I can be making a second and maybe throw in some ham or some salami, or better yet some leftover taco meat. All of a sudden I’m not so hungry and I’m happier having eaten something and maybe I can be motivated to eat some veggies or fruit.

Not all women are in to a guy just because he can turn in an invisible tiger.

Yeah Atul ...

AtulSometimes you don't get to say goodbye and that sucks. One day they're just gone. But with Atul I kept it together because the reason he just disappeared was that he didn't need us. He could go to the door on his own and yeah he should have said goodbye at least but .. well it sucks but I like to remember the happy frog at the party.
For me it was Stanley and Alice

AliceGod it was heartbreaking watching her mind slowly dissolve and get lost. That's where it hit me how important Stella's job was. How important having someone with her at the end, helping and not even saying anything just being there is. I couldn't do it but I'm grateful for the people who can.

StanleyFuck as a parent that got me. Fuck you god! I know that life isn't fair but that really wasn't fair. And watching his mom fall apart from his eyes ... Her 'Fakenegs' ... her fear in watching his fear ... I've never been tested like that and I hope I could do better but man I understand her failing.

Stovetop gives a great explanation of the mechanics so I’ll just add about the vibes. Spiritfarer is sweet and kind at its heart. The main interface of the game is giving hugs and cooking the favourite foods of your passengers. You explore both physically in your boat and in the lives of your friends, and hopefully you come to understand a little bit about life and death. And patience too, sometimes you’re not really stuck you’re just not ready yet.

God … Spiritfarer. What an amazing experience. I didn’t cry but quite a few times I had to put down the controller and just stare out the window. It’s not sad but it is so sad. It’s so wistful and god just loved that game.

“Not all women are in to a man just for his money. “

Andy Warhol was so close, in the future everyone won’t be famous for 15 minutes. Instead everyone will be famous to 15 people.
