I'm down to an eight ball every other week.

On and off. But I have fairly mild allergies/eczema which seems to flare up when I am stressed more than anything. Like, I can't use regular aluminum deodorant every day or I will get a rash. Three days is the limit for most cheap bars, and fuck off with native charging $20/stick, I'd rather just smell bad.
Same shit with most fabric softener. But again it's like a cumulative+ stress thing. I can go months without an outbreak and then the combination of a long week at work and some dry weather will give me itchy thighs.

On the other hand, if you go with reproduction as the main goal, then that gets you to eugenics from an uncomfortable number of very different paths.
Honestly the entire idea that the only purpose of humanity is to make the next generation or support that process in some way just feels gross in a very eugenics adjacent way. If you start with that premise, it's just too easy to conclude that anyone who isn't working towards that end is disposable.
How about I do something which will make life better for people who are actually alive already instead of increasing total human suffering by making new people.

He's completely missing that betting on something like the pope isn't like a random or skill based outcome. The cardinals could literally choose to pick based on the betting markets or even to profit from them if they really wanted to. Polymarket is smooth brain degeneracy for many, many reasons, but this is smooth brain degeneracy turned up to 11.
Imagine being such a degenerate that you bet on the Pope.

I mean this is like saying "I only agree with that one thing Hitler did" and then trying to explain to everyone why you felt the need to defend Hitler. I mean sure, there were probably a handful of policies the Nazis got right, but people are going to look at you funny if you go around phrasing it like that. Especially, in this case, if that "one thing" was actually just praise for shitty authoritarian policies.
On thing that drives me nuts is weight measures for dry ingredients vs numerical egg measurements. Just give me ingredient ratios normalized to the egg mass.
