Nah. They think this is a necessary sacrifice. They think they are soldiers in a war.

I’m sorry that happened to you.

Ah, I miss a time when memes were universal. I remember the first time I discovered Reddit and just scrolled r/f7u12 and laughed so hard I was in tears

What did they do when you passed out?

I thought I was going to pass out on the drive home. I should not have driven home. I didn’t make proper transportation arrangements because I didn’t know what to realistically expect. I have no idea how I got home.

My doctor told me to take a couple ibuprofens before. Did the thing. Made me lie there for a few minutes then set me loose.

I vomited in the parking lot afterwards.

How many people start companies, rack up a bunch of debt, then create another company that buys everything except the debt?

It’s BS they didn’t know about it. They got the financials before the deal. Even if it wasn’t directly listed as a line item it would have been a part of the expenses.

They still thought the deal was worth doing as it was based on incoming revenue and outgoing expenses.

I didn’t even get an email about this. I would have been angry when my subscription auto renewed. I love Trakt but this is too much. I’ll be cancelling too

EDIT: I cancelled. Bummer. I’ve been a user for 12 years. I track things religiously and I tried to contribute to their site by creating public lists that have actual value.

It’s too short a notice, a flimsy justification, and a poor execution. The auto tracking features they added recently really messed up my watch history so now is as good of time as any to quit.

It’s funny. They target people who burned the trucks, but insurance claims are probably their best chance to get paid for the trucks.

I have some hexbear communities turned off in my feed, but I have subscribed to some also. Lemmy is growing but it’s still a small community. Sometimes, I want to see posts on a niche topic and I’ll take what I can get.

We’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.

Do they know it’s my thought or do they think it’s their own?

I’m looking to switch. I like to tinker and try new things.

Replies I’d like to see:

Tell me what OS you’re using! What do you like about it? What don’t you like? What is your primary use for it?

I don’t just want recommendations for my use cases, though I’ll list it below. I want to learn what’s out there and what’s possible.

My Use Cases:

I’m currently using QTS that was preloaded on a QNAP NAS that I got used.

My main goal is to do more self-hosting. I want to be as independent and self-sustainable as possible. Like many of us, I’m burnt out on being treated as a product by big tech.

I’d also like to try to set up a game server for my Steam library.

Really, I just like to tinker. I like when things break or don’t go according to plan. I like to research a problem and fix it!
