A thought experiment rattling in my head: If I were a capitalist (meaning I owne and controlled the labour of others as well as the resources extracted. And not the edge lord version of dead end job capitalist) I would understand that a majority underclass in this current period is coming to a breaking point, a point where revolution could be realized, where information travels over fibre optics. So what would I do as a capitalist. First I would seek to insulate myself from an uproar of revolution. I would consolidate resources, knowledge (AI) and physical (land, money, food). I would build systems of automation to remove the need for human labour completely.

What I am seeing in this capitalist class currently, is political collapse. Parliamentary politics has not been able to answer the crisis of capitalism, it can't fix a system built on a contradiction. If we lived in a world of infinite resources we would all be billionaire × infinity, this is the contradiction of capitalism, we live in a finite world. And thus we see the build out of surveillance, bunkers, gig economy, AI.

Is capitalism making a vested effort to fend off what will soon be mass discontent leading to the revolution. And not fend it off in the cold war sense of creating a middle class but forgoing this class all together and punishing labour through modern tech.

I'm an active member of my revolutionary party, and revolutionary optimism is practiced but to be honest, the pool of resources collected at the top, the systems built in favour of the owning class. I honestly believe there will be a mad max future, were we are no longer organising in our work place but instead building ragtag groups to go out bunker busting. And believe me, I will be one of the first seeking to dragg these fuckers out of their climate controlled bunkers kicking and screaming to face the justice of humanity's collective will.

Kuwait is negotiating an expanded defence agreement with Pakistan in exchange for energy cooperation and investment with the South Asian country, according to a Reuters report.

A Pakistani official told Reuters that Kuwait wanted Islamabad to deploy "thousands of Pakistani troops on the ground, fighter jets, drones, an air defence system, and other defence-related facilities”.

The talks, while at an early stage, underscore how the regional security landscape is being upended by the US-Israeli war on Iran.

Oil-rich Kuwait has endured some of the most intense Iranian strikes in retaliation for the war. On Friday, Kuwait said a power and desalination plant had been seriously damaged by Iranian strikes.

>> Bill Williamson, 74, who lives in Ardentinny, said he had been at a weekly Palestine vigil outside Dunoon Burgh Hall on July 4 when he was approached by a pair of police officers while he was reading out Don’t Mention The Children by the Jewish writer Michael Rosen through a megaphone.

>> ... “Initially I thought, just let this die a death. But then ..

>> “I thought, this is intimidation. The more people that know about it, I think the better.”

>> Rosen’s poem was written in response to a 2014 decision by the Israeli Broadcasting Authority to ban a radio advert from human rights group B’Tselem which listed the names of children killed in Gaza...
