"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

Apologies if this is the wrong tag, also I used the google auto-translate function for this article.

I really had to share this with you all.

So as of this week the CDU announced that they want to intensify the fight against left-wing extremism in Germany….

The article states (again it was translated with google translate)

After the attack in berlin, Dobrindt wants to intensify the fight against left-wing extremism.

Federal Interior Minister Dobrindt has announced a strengthened fight against left-wing extremism.

“The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution should focus more closely on this phenomenon, the CSU politician said in Berlin. The agency will be reinforced with additional staff for this purpose. Dobrindt emphasized that this would not lead to a reduction in resources in other areas such as right-wing extremism and Islamism.

At the beginning of the year, an apparently left-wing extremist arson attack on a cable bridge in western Berlin led to a power outage lasting several days in the southwest of the capital. Following the attack, so-called "volcano groups" claimed responsibility. The Federal Criminal Police Office and the Federal Prosecutor General today offered a reward of up to one million euros for information leading to the identification of the perpetrators.”

Anyways I find this concerning since there are hardly any leftists in Germany, so anyone could be accused of being an extremist.

Leave your thoughts below and share the story further.

There's no need to apologize, it's a complicated issue and you had no knowledge of the circumstances I'm dealing with.

This is still value information for any comrade out there who can make use of it so I appreciate you sharing it.

My own message was meant more for anyone who has ties to an already existing org. that they should expand their reach, because there are absolutely people out there who want to contribute and maybe we aren't perfect and I'm sure there are a lot of disagreements, but we need to use whatever methods we can to build up strength in sheet numbers or as the kids say we're gonna be so cooked.

I'm not naive enough that I think this is going to actually end up reaching anyone, but it's worth a try haha
