I prefer being further east. And warmer, the last time I was in MN it was in the winter, and something stupid like 15F for the highest temp the entire time (thats about -9.5C for folks who use sensible units). The last time I was in upstate NY in the winter, it at least went above freezing.

The beer is better in MN. But I also can't drink beer anymore (thanks gluten, gfy) so not being forced to watch others enjoy is also a benefit.

I have a seething hatred of being cold, and I've been all over the middle east in the summer (like 120F in the shade), so 100F summers I can do.
