Local library, best free source of ebooks I've found out there, and it's perfectly legal.
That’s a fantastic shout, I’ll get down there tomorrow
Has anyone found a way to use the ebooks without Amazon? Every one I've joined has used Libby to access Kindle books and I haven't found a different way to access the content.
if you mean library books ? i use Kobo and it has Overdrive for e-Library access to my local library, works even overseas and I thought it might be geolocked. (I travel SE Asia 8 months a year on the cheap)
I just use Calibre and plug in via USB for the 10,000+ebooks i have.
There's an extension for Calibre called DE-DRM that works in the majority of cases.
I download for reading and either just read with the adobe DRM still there, or strip the adobe DRM to have a clean epub file.
Don't know about amazon, haven't encountered Libby using that.
Yeah I second that , huge selection of ebooks, audiobooks, and more just using a library card and you can get it digital also from libby or Hoopla. Free linkedin learning also
