Weak criticism of AI. You could make this same meme about just hiring a human coder, either way you're letting the code be done by some(thing, one) that isn't you

I claim that your problem is that disagreeing with a moderately popular anti AI post on a technicality got folks arguing with you and you aren't well placed to handle the fallout.
As someone who is upset at people misunderstanding them, you're sure spending a lot of energy complaining about what you assume I think about your viewpoint on AI, when in fact I believe I made no claim or assumption whatsoever about what you believe about AI, just about what you said and how you said it.

The entire internet is made up of hive minds these days. There's no escaping that. At least Lemmy's hive mind isn't payed for by corporate shills. It might be a bit weird,but its real... mostly.
Also there really is room to voice your opinion here, whatever your opinion is. You just have to find the right communities that fit you or even make your own place and that's the nicest thing about thing about this platform.

Seriously, what kind of relationship do these people have with code. They are equating coding with the act of sex, but the code is something they are creating... So, they are upset about cucking but perfectly fine with the whole insect aspect?
