“As I near 60 years old, the expiration date has come and gone on any of my youthful indiscretions,” Taylor told the Nashville Scene when asked about the unsolicited nudes allegation. “Whatever story you think you’ve got, my wife is well aware of, and we’ve worked through it a long time ago.”

“My God and my wife have forgiven me, and I would consider everyone else doing the same,” Taylor added.

No, it's not, why would you think so or say that? This reads to me like a voter in a democracy making a case for a candidate they support. Real political ads are much more surreal than this

Yes. Thank you. I am not in Pearson's district, as I said, but he is one of a handful of younger candidates that does good wherever he is and whatever bullshit he gets hit with, which as a man of integrity and color in Tennessee politics, tends to be a lot. Whenever I see him I shout him out, especially now. He is not favored to win, but TN-9 could do a lot worse.

But the accusation begs the question of comment history. If I want to spot a troll, first place I go is comment history. Why didn't he?

Because its written like a political ad? Its emotionally driven, pitches a good guy vs a bad guy, and it has a sales-style closing. I guess I'm realizing my issue is it sounds like a car salesman pitching a car. I wouldnt find that type of rhetoric effective in person but maybe its more appropriate on here.

I'm not criticizing the candidates, I dont know either of them.
