executive orders are better than laws since executive orders have no weight and are easily undone next administration.

They are also very commonly used by most modern presidents, but most of them haven't had much attention brought to them, while Trump's basically all have. Mostly because they're pretty much all stupid and/or controversial.

They're massively performative and make the plebs and cretins who think politics is WWF theater feel like things are happening. They can be hugely destructive and cause massive repercussions, but they're not as long-reaching and permanent as actual policies and bills being passed through house and senate.
