Just feed it to an AI, that makes it OK. I think having a local speech model on your phone in the same room with you while watching should be sufficient.
I have this new AI tool. Free and open source, model and all, and extremely CPU-efficient. Basically you feed it the training data (like some New York Times articles, but it can be any text or binary), and it can produce a 1:1 output when prompted. I call it "copi"; can I get my five trillion tax dollars now?
This new tool is very efficient as you can use it on your own phone, even with a small amount of RAM. It's called VLC, you train it in real time with "open-source FLAC or Opus files" and you get instant results.
Just feed it to an AI, that makes it OK.

See the real loophole is that I have de-registered myself as a conscious observer. In the eyes of the government, I have never seen a movie, or watched a TV show, or listened to an album.
For legal purposes: I am not a person, I am a meat popsicle. I am a corporate asset however, so don't get any ideas: I still have plenty of rights. More than people, at least.

Yeah. “Breaking confinement” = confines broken.
end-users are rarely prosecuted or sued over piracy so idk why corporations wouldn't get the same deal.

piracy is much like drugs, where the occasional dealer gets nabbed if they're too ostentatious but otherwise things just go on and on and on and on.

That wasn't always true. The RIAA sued many people over music downloads (via bittorent since they're technically hosting at the same time as downloading). They only stopped once the major studios figured out it would cost less to force the ISPs to do it for them.
I remember a time when the gaming community's darling, CDPR, sent lawyers to people's homes, demanding they pay because they pirated The Witcher 2.
I don't know how times have changes, but it definitely happened depending on when and where you lived.
Because corporations aren't pirating for personzl consumption, they are pirating to ingest huge amounts of data for commercial use.
I would be okay with it if it was all leading to a post-money society and it allowed art and trchnooogy to be created for whomever to access. But it ain't, someone else is just getting rich off it.

In Germany you absolutely get subpoenaed for the slightest copyright infringement. There a law firm called "Waldorf Frommer" that does all the dirty work for the so called rights holders.
