It's kinda silly to call any complex political party "the good/bad guys". Compared to the current administration of the US Obama looks like a shining knight on a unicorn. Geopolitically they did some damage too though. Libya says hi. All in all it's just too complicated to break it down to good/bad.
Either way this is just some guy who's speculating about AGI and it sounds like the usual AI company ad headline about how scary good and important their technology is. Is it though? Trump is clearly worse. Also more incompetent. Our grandkids will be recovering from his impact on the working class.

While Obama and Trump do have policy differences, their primary role is as facilitators of imperialism and maintenance of settler-colonialism. In that sense, that crucial, principal sense, both are deeply aligned, and as this is principal, it is the driving factor.

As much as I am all for the destruction of data centers, can we not find a civil solution like having governments create malware that destroys the contents of the server and then shreds the bytes instead?
