I don't get how people can watch this and not be embarrassed. It's such transparent sycophantism. Nothing ever good has come out of the richest people in a country showering the political leader with excessive praise like this.
Yeah it's a sneak peak into the minds of people with no shame. Had it been me, the sycophant, this one memory of me graveling at the table of the person who stole the lives of my family and their descendants, it would be ammunition enough to haunt me on replay every second of every day till the weight was unbearable.
These cringing, sycophantic fucks can never be allowed to live that down.
None of that is happening. Theres no innovation. Theres no creativity. The only thing being unleashed is an American Gestapo.

Unfortunately, as far as succeeding in almost anything goes, this seems to be the meta. Even if these guys hate Trump and (very likely) recognize that he's wreaking havoc on the economy and really hurting their business with tariffs, for some reason, flattery gets you everywhere with Trump. Gifts and bribery get you very far with Trump. Trump makes decisions with his ego rather than for the good of the country. And it's substantially better for business/diplomacy/whatever for such a fickle and vindictive US president to like you.
Absolutely not how the world should be, but IMO it's up to democracy to oust Trump and not to let this madness happen again. Any time I see CEOs or world leaders flattering Trump like this, I can no longer tell the difference between utter morons and people who have just learned to play the game to manipulate Trump and get what they want. This is just how Trump-era politics work, to everyone's detriment.
I think out of all the things that piss me off, knowing that we could easily have a substantially better world for everyone on this planet, at the cost of a few of the greediest people not being able to afford the most exorbitant things on it.
No forgiveness for cowards and sycophants. They have made their beds off the backs of those being persecuted. They deserve nothing more ever again.

I was in conflict about not wanting to watch the video and wanting to know which companies I need to avoid but on second thought it's highly unlikely that there are any I don't despise anyway already. (Still weirds me out how I'm disappointed particularerly by Apple embracing fascists but that might be because I was an Apple fanboy in my youth.)
