I can't help but think this would only make things worse for someone insecure about their size because now it's giving potential partners a false sense of reality that will be exposed the second they come off. It also seems weird because this isn't the 1980s where "nut hugger" jeans are popular either.

[–] finitebanjo@piefed.world 25 points 1 month ago (1 children)

If anything I would think pressing it up against the fabric would give a very very clear "impression" of their average size.

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Only if you walk around erect all day. But yeah I don't know why anyone would want this. I got really self conscious about wearing certain shorts because an ex told me my nuts would often show a buldge the way they fit. Never wanted to wear them again, was really hoping no one else noticed such, but who knows

[–] ryannathans@aussie.zone 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Did they say the bulge was undesired though

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

The tone/context she said it in indicated she thought it was intentional with a hint of jealousy. So depends on the take I guess. Either way it was a lose lose situation for me and possibly something I should have seen as a red flag and not something to overly analyze... Says the guy who is still desiphering how I should have absorbed that information 14 years later

That's why I want more than a "subtle lift." I want a massive, exaggerated, cartoonishly unrealistic lift.

[–] monogram@feddit.nl 8 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I don’t hear anything about people complaining about push-up bras, now men are finally getting some sexy clothing too.

[–] CmdrShepard49@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

Yeah what guy would complain about seeing a woman take her bra off? A guy that insecure is going to have a bad reaction in the same situation.

[–] Sidyctism2@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 month ago

Okay, but then where are the pants with ball-cleavage? Push-up, for what?

[–] AI_toothbrush@lemmy.zip 41 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Isnt this the opposite of what you want? For me its so annoying when the package is very much visable through my clothing. I also hate when my hoodie or pants fold in my crotch area.

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No. We want support so our balls don't slosh around And showing off our package in tight pants is a bonus

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The balls aren't supposed to be supported. They are supposed to regulate themselves to dissipate heat.

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You clearly dont ride bicycles.

The balls are the whole reason for the support

[–] BeardedGingerWonder@feddit.uk 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I don't see what this has to do with anything. It's a super specific scenario, should I wear a helmet around all day because I wear one to protect my head on a bike?

Dude, we got it, you have a big dick.

[–] AI_toothbrush@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 month ago

Heh. But actually i think its more related to ball size and how it rests naturally. While i have an average sized implement, it likes to rest on the royal jewel cushion so its quite pronounced compared to the size. There is zero tuckability, which i wished i had sometimes cause it can look like im having a wood while its in a complete resting state.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 1 points 1 month ago

Kids in hs made fun of each other over this relentlessly. Its why so many boys wore long shirts, to cover it up.

[–] skeezix@lemmy.world 37 points 1 month ago

I advised a friend once that to get the ladies he should put a potato in his bathing suit. He came back after a day at the beach and said it didn’t work. Turned out he got the instructions wrong; he put the potato in the back not the front.

Another product that - like butt/ab implants and muscle filters for your social media - is designed to make you feel insecure.

It's the cultivation of false needs via generating artificial insecurities. That's what Capitalism often uses to sell you things.

Don't buy a pee pee platter, just be more confident in who you are and what you can do.

Also, wow, The Guardian is running downhill huh? Chasing ad bucks rather than the news.

[–] falseWhite@lemmy.world 28 points 1 month ago (1 children)

who lack confidence at the office when their pants are not pushing up their genitals all day

WTF?!

[–] Regrettable_incident@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yeah. Sounds not only creepy but uncomfortable too.

[–] BeMoreCareful@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Equal opportunity sexual harassment?

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 24 points 1 month ago (2 children)

That's why I just warn women about my small penis from the beginning.

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 5 points 1 month ago

I accidentally did this recently.

What I simply said was for her "not to have expectations". What I meant was that I didn't want to have sex on our first night together.

She was very happy to discover my penis is above average.

[–] HeartyOfGlass@piefed.social 22 points 1 month ago

Bring back codpieces!!

[–] iAvicenna@lemmy.world 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)

bask in the glory of my penis

[–] davidagain@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I checked your profile and did not find any crotch shots, so I found myself unable to do any basking, sorry.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I need it for the back more than the front. I have Hank Hill ass. 😩

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 1 points 1 month ago

Then get Hank Hill's solution and wear butt pads

[–] Boozilla@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No thanks, I already have a monster in my pants...you know, space herpes.

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 1 points 1 month ago

Like venom?

[–] blave@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

I thought they were just called “boxer briefs”

And my junk bubble already gets enough attention as it is

[–] Harvey656@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

A padded bra but for cock. I feel like these could be highly inappropriate to wear in certain situations.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 8 points 1 month ago (5 children)

What?

Who is looking at people's junk?

[–] UltraBlack@lemmy.world 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] FEIN@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

can confirm ✅

[–] janNatan@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 month ago

Ever since puberty, me.

[–] ryannathans@aussie.zone 7 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Haha perhaps it's a well hidden secret that women also oogle the bodies of men

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 2 points 1 month ago

Guess that's reassuring? Maybe?

Idk. I usually try to hide the bulge, seemed inappropriate. It's why I don't usually wear skinny jeans or snug pants.

Maybe I'm more amused that there are men this insecure about themselves. I can't change my height, I can't fix my ugly. But I can certainly show off a little I guess.

Had a coworker who's pants was ultra tight. Could see outline very clearly.

[–] moondoggie@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

I thought that said M&Ms and I had a LOT of questions.

[–] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Is this, like, padding? Or is it literally just extra support? Because, sincerely not trying to brag, I've got a pretty big package and insufficient support leads to extensive chaffing.

If this is just extra support, this could be pretty awesome.

[–] FoolishSage@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I knew a guy who stared a boxer company with a sort of built in pouch for "the fruit" to prevent chaffing and stuff. The company had the genius name of Dosco Jones. Don't know if they are still around though

[–] kittenzrulz123@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It might genuenly make sense for transmascs, other than them I cant see much use

[–] KelvarCherry@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 month ago

Actually that's a really good perspective. I was chuckling while thinking of the manosphere stupidity, but this is genuinely a good point. I hope these help a trans man.

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 2 points 1 month ago

Whatever happened to the art of shoving an extra pair of socks down your trolleys?

[–] REDACTED@infosec.pub 1 points 1 month ago
