I looked up the Taj Mahal money laundering, and it's real.

I started using Bazzite last year and it's fantastic, but modding seems to be a bit of a headache on it right now. I think Nexus Mod Manager is going to really help that once its got more than Stardew working though.
Is that true everywhere or just in the US? I know that, at least a few years ago, a bunch of banking software in the US was still in COBOL but parts of Western Europe were modernizing their banking industry. I'm probably going back to school for computer science in the fall and had been considering trying to learn COBOL in my free time, or learning more Fortran (I have actually taken a programming class with Fortran, but because it was aimed at beginners it didn't really go in depth, but I bet it'd look good on certain resumes). It's looking like my future is in Europe somewhere, so I'm keeping that in the back of my mind while making decisions.
I just got off a phone interview that didn't go amazing. I've done Zoom interviews before and those are less awful. Oh well, I've got another interview tomorrow for a job that's closer and pays more even if I did really want the tech repair job.
My mom is Jewish and I'd been considering doing one of those DNA tests until that data leak happened, I was glad I hadn't done it.
Sometime around 2019-ish they locked them down hard and it's not possible to jailbreak them and put custom firmware on it, however I'm pretty sure you can still put the play store on it, I've side loaded it on my 2021 model but it's still awful because of Amazon.
I mean if my water heater decides to take a shit, I can just call the landlord and they'll handle it...
I rent, and I wish it was that easy. I have to twist my landlord's arm into doing anything and she always complains about how much it costs. We had sewage backing up into the basement and she didn't want to pay for the emergency plumber. Ugh. I dream of my own apartment with a decent landlord.
Honestly that just sounds like a college humor skit.
