If the money is coming from Trump, I'm going to be like Chuck Berry or Aretha Franklin, and insist on payment in advance, in cash, delivered BEFORE I vote. And my vote remains a secret, or no deal.

It would be hilarious if everybody took the deal, and voted against him anyway.

At least, it would be hilarious until he got enraged, and bombed the entire country in revenge.

Oh, yeah, and a lot more than that. Most of those super-wealthy people don't want their names to be well-known, but that are still very active.

He's also talking about operations in several other countries, and if he's talking about a few, he's thinking about a bunch more. He doesn't seem to understand that it's not a good idea to spread your forces and resources over multiple battlefronts.

He seems to think that the military is infinite, that he can just throw money at it and it can do anything. He's talking about a $1.5 TRILLION military budget (who is paying for that?), and he's going to need a LOT more personnel. That means at some point, he is going to demand a draft, especially if unemployment gets too high. It is already at its highest point since 2020.

America First used to mean we stay out of everywhere else, and concentrate on America, but Trump's version means America gets first dibs on everything, and if you don't want to play that game, we'll just take what we want.

Nukes are the only major worry about Russia, of course. However, there is a lot of doubt about the viability of their nuclear arsenal. It's assumed that they are mostly in disrepair, and many might not even be operational, but all it would take is one good one left to mess up the whole world's day.

And presumably, the ones that are on nuclear subs swimming around the world are fully operational.

Musk has already said that he intends to go all in to get Republicans elected in 2028. He and Trump's heads may be too big to fit in the same room, but he knows which side his bread is buttered on.

No reason you couldn't take his money, then vote No. That's what I'd do. I don't owe any loyalty to a corrupt, treasonous, racist, rapist, pedophile. He's cheated countless people in his life, I have a moral responsibility to cheat him back, and take his money away from him.

If there's a war, and the US is cut off due to international sanctions, they'll have to ship the oil all the way north, by ship, rail, or road, all of which would be VERY susceptible to attacks and sabotage.

Russia doesn't look like the threat they once were. Ukraine has been holding them off all by themselves.

If all the NATO nations (sans USA) got together and raged on Russia, Russia would fall pretty quick.

Turning off our phones isn't the answer, prohibiting this invasive and predatory practice is the solution. They couldn't follow you around town and all the way home, and take note of your address without getting flagged for stalking, or at least a restraining order.

They shouldn't be able to stalk you electronically, any more than they can do it on person.

That's a separate subject, a Strawman.

Well, we know where the son got his sense of morality. I'll bet he regales the family at Thanksgiving dinner with hilarious stories about how he abuses people with accents, stupid clothes, and weird food.

"Respect me! I put my life on the line for you every day!"

Meanwhile, being a cop isn't even in the Top 10 of the most dangerous jobs. Some lists don't even put it in the top 20. I've had two jobs that are always in the Top 5, and I've never gone around demanding respect because I had a dangerous job. In fact, I never even thought about the dangers, and didn't know they were considered so dangerous until years later, and saw a list of dangerous jobs. Even if I knew, I would have kept doing the job.

But cops want to remind literally EVERYBODY, literally every moment of the day. Fucking cowards.
