I've wondered, too. Is it driven by an obsessive hatred of Arabs and Muslims? The Christian Right's fetish for armageddon? Oil? Kickbacks?

There are damned few heroes, and no, Cory Booker isn't one of them.

I liked him before he came to Congress, but in office he's been a blah, one of many worthless Dems, and dead wrong on numerous issues — including Gaza.

I'll give him kudos for the longwinded speech, without even any snark, but it only added up to a day's delay. To actually be effective, he should've yielded the floor to another Democrat who'd filibuster, and then another. Where are the rest of the Dems? For that matter, where was Booker until Monday night?

I'd seen the headlines, but most — like TPM's — haven't included the name Brent Bozell. He's quite reprehensible, even by Trump standards. Young folks might need an introduction.

Dude doesn't quite connect the dots. The government — under Biden — had a deal to save his farm. The government — under Trump — is changing all the rules, reneging on the contract. If all he groks from this is "government bad," then game over. Except it's not a game.
