Makes sense if you can limit who can run in the party there is zero threat to you from the general population. I think it is stranger that people think the voters in such a system have real power.

You have a two party system with one party having no access to anyone not on a list of approved individuals vs the other party having a glorious leader and no access to anyone unless approved. The real sad part is only one of those two cares about holding power, so you have a nation of fascists (remember they did win that election) and a bunch of people who can claim some sort of moral high ground.

Yes, and that is also why you look up quotes and sources.

You can type all that, still funny when you know that a quote with a name is a source. Since you know the quotes source is that named person. Not really relevant if it is a correct quote or not, as a sourced lie is a thing as well.
