Yes, I'm afraid we've had the mirror of our worst selves in our collective face for some time, and keep pointing into it while shouting, "No, YOU!”
We need to do some serious, deep introspection on who we are, as a nation, who we want to be, and develop a strategy for getting ourselves on that path.
If anyone is triggered into shouting "that's not me, that's probably a good indication of where we are as opposed to where we think we are. All of us have room for improvement.
