It’s not that they forgot to write it’s more likely that they don’t have the time, have an asshole production team that push metrics in their throat (the Paramount family is particularly racist but prefer money over their racism) and every good writers have been laid off for attempting unionization.

It’s sad but Star Trek is in its Enshitification phase and is going on and on and on …

The problem is not that this technologies are or aren’t a grift, the problem is that they are used to grift (and that the 4th power that is supposed to protect us against this isn’t doing its job).

In that sense : every next technology will be a grift. Look at spaceX, he sold refueling booster as the next step in human ~~space exploration~~ evolution and finally its just another company used to mine our data. Grift

Thinking that we’re now in the AI power autonomous killer drone, that’s a lot of money to feel safe

GoG ban. She lost her account on GoG due to piracy

There was an ad from Coke entirely generated by AI last Christmas. It wasn’t even cute or on point, there was editing error, etc. People complained so much that they pulled out the ad

So you solved it and didn’t give us the answer

Raccoon is legal drinking age, says distillery owner

So I recently-ish upload ST: Deep Space 9 into my Jellyfin (kind of love falling asleep watching it) and some episodes are doubled.

For example in season 4 Jellyfin fetched the metadata for the episode 9 (our men Bashir) and put it on the episode 9 and 10. Now after 10 the episodes are sync on the one before them. It slightly annoying.

I checked the naming convention for the file, seems in order. Tried to refresh the metadata, to no avail. Reboot the server, didn’t work. Only permit Jellyfin to fetch metadata from IMDB, nope

I’m at lost, any idea ?

Edit : what worked was putting [imdbid-ttXXXXX] in the problematic files name and refreshing all the metadata for the folder, in my case all the series

What’s your go too (secure) method for casting over the internet with a Jellyfin server.

I’m wondering what to use and I’m pretty beginner at this
