The issue the article is pointing at, is that they are using the allegedly apocalypse to push a for-profit agenda (refulation for others, ban on distillation.)

I am locking the thread only because the comment sections has turn out to be full of toxicity. I am reserving my opinions, but seldom bans will be issued for those who defend far-right, support lies, and lacks basic ethics and/ or human empathy. Feel free to reach out via the report button. Personally, I like debian's approach more. They put some granularity of levels as to when and how much ai assistance can you take.
But I can totally see that void, being the profile of users and devs they got, would prefer to be way more radical.
