Not sure about Teams, but for Zoom you're only first locally. Everyone else sees themselves first in their local client. The ordering of participants in Zoom meetings is documented here. There's a whole bunch of logic behind the scenes; muted vs. unmuted, whether the participant called in, etc.
I thought they were banana slices. Kiwi would be even more cursed, which I didn't think was possible. Either way, kind of it to warn us of the danger it poses! Biohazard symbols might be more appropriate though.
How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now...
