After a large backlash, yes.

It's all resolved now and I do support the project, we need another browser engine. But to not see the issue at all...? An issue resolved doesn't mean the issue didn't exist.

It was pointed out and could have been corrected easily, nobody was accusing them of doing it intentionally. Instead they doubled down, which then did show their views and caused the controversy.

The immune system is fucking incredible, you should read up on it and then you'll never make a post like this again!

The question is, who wants to fork and maintain android? That's a massive undertaking, one that wouldn't seem worth it until it started getting meaningful percentages of market share.

We already have that. A reason they want to shift to ARM is so they can lock the hardware down.

Or we could just make satellite phone service more accessible? Without the need for thousands of pieces of space trash put into LEO? Nobody needs tiktok when they are climbing a mountain in a remote area.

Id rather all this space trash burn up and we just spend the money on providing internet via land.

Such interesting videos on such nostalgic pieces of technology too. I could listen to him ramble about this stuff all day (and I have).

The point is you shouldnt have to turn it off, its a web browser, we want to browse the web, not be subject to whatever shite Mozilla want to force into it. Features like this should be optional plugins you have to download.

Yeah, it's a fucking weird format. It's kind of funny to watch sometimes though, plus you get a bit of an insight of how these people think (well, lack of mostly).
