It’s a real challenge for her and would require deep introspection and a lot of guilt.
If she blamed the president and she voted for him then she would also be to blame. She would have in essence assisted in her son’s death.
This is a horrifying fact so she shies away from it and directs blame to the system instead.
And yet, being in denial prevents true growth
Facing reality is hard. So much for calling others snowflakes
