If the pedestrian had a gun, this never would have happened.

Idk, the crosswalk would be still unarmed - needs some movement-sensor gun turrets.

[–] Frostbeard@lemmy.world 21 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

Imagine that there IS indeed a company that caters to such needs

Idk, those turrets would actually encourage travelling faster because their reaction time is so slow and easy to run over due to high centre mass.

Note to Aperature Marketing:

This was a triumph!

I'm 75% sure that this is sarcastic and the upvoters believe this is sarcastic.

I would say it's "tongue in cheek". Sarcasm, irony, absurdity of reality, all packaged together.

[–] CatZoomies@lemmy.world 6 points 11 hours ago

Yep, you’re correct!

Stupid gunless pedestrians who don't bring a car when walking...

[–] racketlauncher831@lemmy.ml 6 points 16 hours ago

"If my car failed to kill them my gun will!"

[–] sem@piefed.blahaj.zone 13 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Don't bring a ped to a car fight... with guns.

The pedestrian here was really at a disadvantage if you think about it.

[–] mynameisbob@lemmy.ml 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

in imperial dum dum yankkkeeland the pedestrian is a 2nd class citizen. In the core we serve and work for the pdfiles and the 4 legged gasoline guzzlers. We live our lives in the cracks and shaddows of stooopids.

whats the difference?

[–] magnue@lemmy.world 4 points 15 hours ago

I just wish they would do it somewhere more appropriate like in a school.
