I don't know which is worse. That he is a twat, or that Google think their renaming something on their maps actually means anything (as he obviously does).

He just keeps escalating demands until he's stopped.

[–] tal@lemmy.today 5 points 43 minutes ago

If you read the article text, he's telling people at a rally that he asked Google's CEO to do it and they said no.

Now, I'd take anything Trump says about deals and interactions with anyone else with a large grain of salt, as he's pretty flagrantly lied in the past, but even if taken at face value, he's saying that his request didn't go through.

I think we should name way more things after him: The Donald J. Trump Dump and the Donald J. Trump-Chicken Farm. Trump-Diarrhea though this might also be the Robert F. Kennedy Diarrhea. A Ship being hit with a mine shall be known as a Trump-Maneuver. Going bankrupt is just "Trumping".

Still don't understand why it's called the Iran War and not the Trump war.

[–] deadbeef79000@lemmy.nz 3 points 35 minutes ago

So as not to distract from the Trump Files.

Newsweek isn't a reliable source, in particular not as a single source. Be wary.

Reliable or not, the Orange himself bragged about it few days ago

... I am yelling at people to do their due diligence, not doubt fact.

Using outlets that report non factually when they do will build trust for when they misinform.

Good on you for being aware of and caring about such things and for spreading the word about it! Keep fightin' the good fight! :)

That's what you get for bowing to trump on Lake Ontario and the Mexican Golf. The orange turd will assume he can ask you to do anything for him.

[–] NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 1 points 41 minutes ago

Damn, I didn't know Mexico had its own kind of golf.

[–] VinegarChunks@lemmus.org 2 points 41 minutes ago

When Google and Apple immediately rolled over on command and changed the last two names (Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario) they had to know this would only encourage him and lead to things like this.

[–] warbond@lemmy.world 1 points 23 minutes ago

"The Atlantic borders other countries"???

And the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario don't...?

Kind of okay with the lost city of Trumpis.

Seeing him avoid going to the UK because Trump going transtrumpic.

[–] random_character_a@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

He's gotta be fucking with us. Nobody can be that daft. He has to know all that shit will be removed once we get rid of his ilk.

[–] myrmidex@belgae.social 8 points 1 hour ago (2 children)

Are we sure about that though? Did the Patriot Act get removed once Bush was done? Opposition politicians might be watering at the mouth over these new uncontested powers.

There’s a difference between between a law that passed congress and was signed by the president and an executive order/personal request from the president.

Only the people of his own country don't see this old fellow is delusional and unfit for office.

[–] Burn_The_Right@lemmy.today 2 points 41 minutes ago

The normal people here see it clearly and are horrified. The conservatives are the ones who don't see or don't care. They love all of it except the gas prices. In fact, many conservatives are mad he's not more authoritarian and violent.

Conservatives were promised blood and they won't be satisfied until they have it. Our civil war was never properly finished. We allowed many of the traitors to live and now we have concentration camps because of it. The traitors need to be properly dealt with.
