It should be noted that when you make reports, it is your responsibility to provide rational reasoning why something should be removed. Saying it simply breaks community rules is not always good enough.
Note: This is not a rule, but a helpful suggestion.
When posting images, you should strive to add alt-text for screen readers to use to describe the image you're posting:
Another helpful thing to do is to provide a transcription of the text in your images, as well as brief descriptions of what's going on. (example)

Ummmm, should we tell him?
I checked, and this was originally posted on Reddit by the artist in 2019.
It felt better back then because you could still believe there was an exciting future in front of you instead of realizing you've hit every major life milestone, and yes, this is what yours turned out to be.
That's the beauty of being able to do what you want
You put yourself here and you can do whatever you want about it
Clearly the thing that makes you happy is having a corded controller. I will ve taking no questions and/or criticism.
I was at a party, and I saw a guy with a leather jacket, and I thought, 'That's cool'. Then I saw a guy with a leather vest and I thought, 'That's not cool'. It was then that I realized what coolness is all about... leather sleeves.
I OWN LEATHER SLEEVES.

The difference is, when we were kids, we were told the world had never been a better place and it was only going to get better because this is a world where everyone works to make the next one better.
We heard our parents and teachers preach the importance of reading books, thinking critically, recognizing bias in the media, and acting for the greater good.
Now, we realize that was all bullshit. This is a world where billionaires work to make things better for themselves, at the expense of everyone else. And our parents were convinced to vote for it because they failed to do any of that shit they preached about our whole life.
The world "sucks" now because it feels like everyone knows better but chooses to be a selfish turd anyway. How else do you reconcile the world we observe with the one we were promised?
I don't think the emptiness of trying to chase a joy you felt in your youth while not knowing what could possibly give you a feeling that would even maybe just remind you of that happiness, combined with the knowledge that if you stopped treading water you'd just kinda die can really be understood unless you feel it. Hell, if you told my 10 year old self he'd one day have literally hundreds of video and board games, he'd have been mind blown. Understanding the void of scrolling through the game library on your couch before buying another one you won't play just to fail to relive the feeling of buying clay fighter 2 and reading the booklet on your way home is just... something 10-year-old me could not possibly have comprehended. And I don't know if the author does.
The paradox of choice is why a few of us are abandoning streaming for physical media (or at least intentional downloading).
When everything is available to us, we lose the ability to appreciate anything on its own terms. We can no longer ask,"what is going on? how does this thing work?" Instead, if it's the least bit challenging, the least bit unfamiliar, the least bit uncomfortable, we immediately skip, and now the entire media landscape is made by creators who know their audience will give them only a few seconds of grace before saying next!
Nice. I thought I was entering my midlife crisis full steam ahead when I felt like nothing was fun anymore as I sat motionless in front of the miniatures I bought as a teenager and thought I would paint to feel some sort of progress. But alas, it was the damn Netflix subscription all along!
Shorter of breath, and one day closer to death.

The 90βs werenβt 20 years ago fam
Sure, we had a simpler life when children, but letβs be honest: the world sucking is separate from our past. Our generation was sold an idea, that was a fiction, and a bunch of people have profited from misery, from war, from racism. It would be hubris to think we could fix it, but the last decade continues to prove that progress is not always a straight line.
This comic must be ten years old. Perfect for the title.
Wow. I was ready to post a snarky reply about how the N64 is not 30 years old, and then I did the math, and I do not like this realization!
Proportionally smaller pizza
I wish I still loved video games as much I used to.
This year I seen to have lost my desire to play them (decades later than my father wished I had) but I don't seem to have developed a new desire to replace that one. It reminds me of how being 13 and unable to have fun with my Legos the way I used to felt.
Yes, but you know a lot more about the world in the first pane and so itβs not carefree.
Also, that time on the couch is now just a brief oasis before having to return to the wasteland of a soul devouring job.
It's missing the window, which in the past shows a tree, and in the present shows a burning hellscape
The more things change the more they stay the same.
There are only 3.25 years of the nineties left that were twenty some years prior to the current year, 2026, in the calendar of our lord Robert
