Trump literally saying he doesn’t care about small business, only corporations

https://youtube.com/shorts/_vK-_cIZPE0

[–] NutWrench@lemmy.ml 12 points 3 hours ago

If you thought Trump was ever going to help you or keep his word on anything, you are just aggressively, ferociously stupid. You knew EXACTLY what he was and was warned 1000 times what he was. You got told.

[–] Kamsaa@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

As we say in France...cheh !

[–] davidagain@lemmy.world 33 points 14 hours ago

Conservatism is, as always, a complete failure of empathy, a lack of ability to recognise that if you don’t care about other people and you choose to put people who also don’t care about other people in charge, the people in charge simply and absolutely don’t care about you or your friends or your family.

Conservatives don’t understand that “them” and “us” are actually all just us.

[–] ssfckdt@lemmy.blahaj.zone 35 points 16 hours ago

All I ever want to say to these people is: YOU DUMB FUCK. YOU STUPID GODDAMN FUCK. YOU SCREWED US ALL WITH YOUR STUPIDITY.

[–] Sturgist@lemmy.ca 30 points 16 hours ago (1 children)
[–] TriflingToad@sh.itjust.works 7 points 16 hours ago

[–] Zenith@lemm.ee 20 points 16 hours ago

And he will never ever actually try to find or figure out the answer to his own question, just wait to be told what to think

[–] boolean_sledgehammer@lemmy.world 16 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Democracy cannot survive an electorate that is this fucking stupid.

[–] Stamau123@lemmy.world 6 points 12 hours ago

Probably why it's not

[–] BlameTheAntifa@lemmy.world 40 points 19 hours ago

Literally everyone warned you. Everyone.

But you wanted to "own the libs" so those leopards you let brainwash and manipulate you are now feasting on faces.

[–] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 10 points 15 hours ago

Small government enjoyer just got owned

[–] aceshigh@lemmy.world 36 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

No more DEI, no more LGBTQ. You losing your business was totally worth it right? Thats what you voted for.

[–] Witchfire@lemmy.world 8 points 17 hours ago

I don't know, "Steffi" sounds like a very DEI name if you ask me /s

[–] umbrella@lemmy.ml 33 points 21 hours ago

i love this comm but its sad that most of these people will probably do mental gymnastics to stay a far right nazi.

[–] Catma@lemmy.world 158 points 1 day ago (6 children)

Yea fuck this man sideways.

[–] unphazed@lemmy.world 1 points 15 minutes ago

So he clearly shows he knows next to nothing butwhat he's been shovel fed. He's using trans in a verb form, which shows his ignorance very clearly. Maybe if he learned more or met some trans individuals (you see, it's an adjective in this sentence), he might understand more. But empathy is a sin, so can't do that. That Bible he knows 4 words from says so, he was told it said that, along with hating homosexuals and immigrants... jfc, I'm so sick of blatant stupidity. I can forgive ignorance, but wanton idiocy just flabbergasts me. We as humans crave knowledge and are by nature curious. Why some people are content to just sit like automatons and refuse to learn anything I just cannot comprehend.

[–] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 25 points 22 hours ago

I didn't vote for this

Didn't you know what you were voting for?

Yes.

Well, he's a liar, an idiot, or both. I'm going with both.

[–] madjo@feddit.nl 98 points 1 day ago (2 children)

These idiots really don't understand how it works, do they? "trans the kids"

nobody was transing the kids, idiot Austin. That's not how anything worked.

[–] Trainguyrom@reddthat.com 21 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Honestly the best response to that kind of thing is just "lol based" completely short-circuits them

"Easy there snowflake. Did you forget to take your testosterone booster today? You out here crying like a pussy ass lib."

Oh no Trump took away my buisness with his economic policies. At least I can rest easy knowing that we're legislating child genitals

[–] beejboytyson@lemmy.world 28 points 1 day ago (2 children)
[–] Enkers@sh.itjust.works 21 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago) (1 children)

They have to. Their world view is so fragile that accepting they're wrong about even the smallest thing risks shattering the whole.

[–] unphazed@lemmy.world 1 points 10 minutes ago

So I am someone who used to get defensive when I was wrong about something, until I heard a great trick. Think of being corrected as knowing the truth, then spin it in your head that now that you know the truth you are now right. It's selfish as hell, but it works for me. Less defensiveness, less arguing, better mentality.

[–] lilsolar@sh.itjust.works 8 points 20 hours ago

Hey the important thing is that there isn't a trans kid playing soccer!

[–] BMW_stick@lemmy.world 14 points 20 hours ago

Aww, thoughts and prayers...idiot.

[–] Goodmorningsunshine@lemmy.world 21 points 21 hours ago (3 children)

These are like Herman Cain awards and I'm as here for it as I was for those.

[–] aturtlesdream@lemmy.world 3 points 11 hours ago

I loved that sub so much, morbid sure, but it felt like a little bit of well-deserved karma!

I actually really like seeing these.

You dumbs fucks did this to yourselves, the unfortunate part is that they were not smart enough to understand what was really happening and what was going to happen.

The unfortunate part is all the misery they will cause for the good people (and I don't mean one political party or another).

The enshittification of the world (which has been happening for a while) is picking up speed because of these dumb fucks.

[–] reattach@lemmy.world 83 points 1 day ago

Notice that they voted for "Trump" but that it's "government" that damaged their business. Curious.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 198 points 1 day ago (5 children)

"I didn't vote for this"

Yes... you literally did vote for this.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 66 points 1 day ago (3 children)

it'll never cease to be hilariously ironic that conservatives love to call others naïve, as they themselves fail to realize that people will tell blatant lies in order to get votes

The de minimus exemption was never meant to be used as a loophole by any business, big or small. He's basically admitting tax fraud. "I bought lots of sub $800 orders to avoid paying taxes and it's the only thing that kept me profitable!"

Austin Wade Petersen (born February 19, 1981) is an American writer, political activistcommentator, and broadcaster. He is the host of the Wake Up America show daily newscast. He was the runner-up for the Libertarian Party's nomination for President of the United States in 2016,[1] finishing second place to Gary Johnson with 21.9% of the vote.[2][3]

[–] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 17 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Libertarian

Vote for Trump

Hmmmmmmm

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 20 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

All Libertarians are just republiQans who don’t want to take responsibility for republiQans.

[–] BlameTheAntifa@lemmy.world 7 points 19 hours ago

I used to identify as "libertarian" but it was obvious that the party itself was in no way, shape or form ideologically libertarian. They were neolibs at best, and alt-right, goosestepping fascists at worst. I no longer use the term to describe me or my ideology because it's been completely co-opted by the right.

[–] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 8 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago)

Mostly, yeah. I identify as left libertarian, in that I'm generally opposed to all forms of coercion, including economic coercion, and there are dozens of us all over the country. We're far, far outnumbered by the right libertarians and the embarrassed republicans that have successfully hijacked the party. For example, the LPUSA used to have an official policy plank supporting the right to abortion; that got shitcanned after 2020 in an attempt to try and court republicans. It's a damn shame, too, because their party mascot, the porcupine, is pretty fucking sick.

This is not a battle between good and evil.

This a battle between stupid and evil. And stupid is scoring home run after home run!
