Chess.
I wanna see two nerds trying to castle while riding at a full gallop, trying to juggle the board on the back of a saddle like a first-time dad trying to tell his wife to hold on until they get to the hospital.
That one season of Yu-Gi-Oh where they rode motorbikes for no reason
You should check out chessboxing it's actually very entertaining
They dont actually fight and play chess at rhe same time, they alternate, but the whiplash is wild. And you've got high-level players completely shook making blunders cause they were fighting 30 seconds ago

Is your question implying that you think polo is better than hockey? No way!
Most sports are worse when you add in animal cruelty imo
Horses are social animals that enjoy being active. I don't know where animal cruelty was mentioned here?
I'd argue that most equestrian sports would be better with bicycles. Bicycle polo is apparently a thing.

Sumo wrestling
Not horses, but there’s a version of bullfighting in japan which is basically just a couple of bulls pushing each other around. If all goes well, neither gets hurt.
