Right, I find even making an argument like that to be incredibly revealing. “Damn so I did dialectics and it turns out the course of action that benefits me is the most correct one! What a coincidence!”
I mean it's an accurate assessment of tipping, it is a fucked up bit of labor culture that lets the bourgeoisie get away with underpaying certain specific classes of already marginalized workers, but it's like. You can't just have the analysis and do nothing about it. Not tipping just because tipping is fucked up is actually worse than doing nothing about it because it's making things actively worse for the worker!

i think it could be argued that he was wrong about the correct position of the human body. in hindsight, it seems that a better way to hold yourself is well away from a the business end of an ice pick.
