poptarts are the worst parts of pure sugar and the worst parts of cardboard for me. the dough part is so bland and has such a bad texture, like dry but not satisfyingly so like a scone, idk what theyre even trying to do. the frosting feels like it has nothing to make it creamy and the filling feels like it has no fruit or whatever flavor they say it is, it's just dry sugar and damp sugar respectively. it's pure sugar but not in a decadent way, it doesn't feel like an unhealthy treat like a donut does, it just feels wrong. i can see liking it if you're a kid but idk why adults do it to themselves.

I had one for the first time recently, it was like eating a cake made entirely out of frosting and sugary filling, I normally love sugary food, but it just made me feel sick. I don't know how anyone could actually eat those on the regular.
I lived on Pop-Tarts when I worked in an office because I could toast them while I made coffee and then give myself a little 15 minute breakfast break
This would be followed by a 15 minute bathroom visit
Then I would take my five minute smoke break (I didn't smoke, but i made them think I did)
Suffice to say, I was getting paid for 8 hours and only working about 4 or 5
