Fascinating. Where are the Epstein files?

[–] DotEliot@lemmy.world 6 points 2 hours ago

You're still a rapist, buddy.

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 1 points 53 minutes ago

Plenty of shit for brains MAGA nutters out there that still support their pedo clown.

[–] bcgm3@lemmy.world 1 points 57 minutes ago

"Something very wrong" describes literally every single fathomable thing that's come out of this administration.

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 33 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

He'll say anything to make people forget that he's in the Epstein files.

[–] areakode@riskeratspizza.com 6 points 3 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Burninator05@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

You would think he would have come up with a way to spin that as a good thing that his base would eat up.

[–] Bluedragon012@lemmy.world 29 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Remember, we are letting this happen. :D

[–] yuknowhokat@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

Because the laws never expected the rest of government to be complicit

[–] flop_leash_973@lemmy.world 16 points 8 hours ago

Its sad that it takes such ludicrous displays before people acknowledge that “there is something wrong with Trump”. And then large chunks of them will in the next breath continue to support him.

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 31 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Oh NOW there is a problem with Trump…

[–] ButtermilkBiscuit@feddit.nl 5 points 3 hours ago

I was beginning to get suspicious

Onlookers fear ‘something very wrong’ with Trump

This is their threshold?

There has been something obviously "very wrong" with him for years. Decades, even.

[–] violetmirage26@thelemmy.club 1 points 9 minutes ago

Agreed. I assumed there was something very wrong with him during his first term.

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world 33 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

In the 1980s, Trump always made Spy magazine's "Top 10 Worst People, Places or Things" list. His one "mitigating factor" was always "at least he's not in politics".

[–] forkDestroyer@infosec.pub 13 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago) (1 children)

Any archived articles of this handy?

[–] TehWorld@lemmy.world 10 points 9 hours ago

It’s RawStory. Effectively Newsmax for the left wing. Feel-good stories that hold essentially nothing binding them to reality. Best avoided.

I'm surprised more people didn't see him as a joke after commenting about his building being the tallest after 9/11

[–] MajorasMaskForever@lemmy.world 12 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

A useful idiot still needs to be able to do things for you, win over the right people, set the tone of the room, be the distraction. If the useful idiot goes off of the rails, stops being taken seriously at all, you're left with just an idiot. They're worried they lost the useful part

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 8 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago) (1 children)

The Republicans never really had control of him. I think they fear him dying on them and them not been able to hold MAGA together without his unique brand of genuine crazy.

Maybe next time they pick a puppet president they go with someone who knows the score, and isn't under the delusion they're in change.

Is he aware that the decades of solar radiation on the moon has bleached the flag the Apollo astronauts left?

It's white. Indistinguishable from a flag of surrender.

Not to mention, the US is a signatory of the Outer Space Treaty, recognizing space as neutral ground and subject to the same legal precedent as maritime law governing international waters.

Fucking lunatic should have been removed already.

[–] Zacpod@lemmy.world 14 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Except Trump had made it abundantly clear that: A) American agreements are signed in pencil B) The American people are OK with A).

[–] jtrek@startrek.website 7 points 8 hours ago

American treaties have a long history of being ignored. Treatment of the native peoples, for example.

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 7 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

the US's agreement on something is worth basically nothing, and will be for a very long time

[–] 2pNza@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago

especially with europeans

[–] LovableSidekick@lemmy.world 4 points 8 hours ago

At this point I don't think he's aware of much beyond that 2pm is pudding time.

[–] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 6 points 10 hours ago

He likes white things so you'd think he'd know about the flag

main thing wrong with trump is that he still draws breath

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 14 points 11 hours ago

It's way worse than just the moon:

Among Trump’s bizarre online posts were images that appeared to be generated with artificial intelligence (AI) depicting him in hellish landscapes with threatening messages. One depicts Trump walking in Washington, D.C. alongside an army of robots and soldiers with red glowing eyes, and the message, “THEY WILL NEVER SLEEP AGAIN.” Another depicts Trump sitting atop a black throne amid a hellish and war-torn landscape in front of giant humanoid robots.

In another post, Trump suggested renaming the state of New Mexico to “New America,” and in another, redrawing Iran’s borders to mirror the silhouette of Trump’s profile. One post, also likely generated with AI, depicts the destruction of Iran’s Kharg Island with the message, “Bye bye, Kharg.”

Trump also shared an image of the moon that included the text, “THE MOON IS OURS,” alongside an American flag.

[–] Aeao@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

“The moon is ours” sounds more like a rally cry than a declaration of ownership. Like saying “the night is ours”

The other shit in the article seemed more crazy like him being the dictator of a robot army in pictures. Like some warhammer looking shit.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

Literally the moon is a harsh mistress, great book.

[–] ikidd@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

Mike would have railgunned his ass.

[–] Aeao@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

I love a good book. I’ll check it out.

Slow day in the news for rawstory.com I guess. Lots of people know there's something wrong with this dude, and have for a while.

Onlookers have known there's something wrong with Bonespurs for a long time.

[–] CaptainBasculin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

Throughout history, no land claim has been valid without pissing on it. No one from America has pissed on the moon, therefore cannot claim ownership of it.

[–] melfie@lemmy.zip 7 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago)

I believe the Apollo astronauts did leave bags of human waste on the moon which may have contained urine. Probably need more specific criteria than just “American urine touched the moon’s surface”.
